Creative Workforce Fellowship (CWF) Workshops. The Cleveland Partnership for Arts and Culture is offering Creative Workforce Fellowship Workshops to talk about this fellowship. CWF’s purpose is to invest in developing and sustaining professional artists; establish a supportive environment for artists that nurtures creativity and innovation; and increase awareness of Cuyahoga County artists through their professional contributions within the creative workforce. The Foundation Center – Cleveland offers free introductory classes on proposal writing, grant seeking, fundraising planning and more. They also offer more indepth, fee-based classes on fundraising and have a reference library to research potential funders.

 

The Neighborhood Leadership Development Program (NLDP), a program of the Mandel Foundation, is an innovative program for emerging and developing leaders residing in the neighborhoods of Cleveland. the mission of the NLDP is to develop the diverse leadership abilities of engaged Clevelanders who are committed to creating a city and region which works for everyone. Neighborhood Leadership Institute exists to develop grassroots leadership that will contribute to rebuilding the bonds of community and improving the quality of life for neighborhood residents throughout the Greater Cleveland area. The Ohio State University Extension offers a host of training and technical assistance programs in Cuyahoga County. Services include training in gardening, market gardening, health and nutrition, and more. Call 216.429.8200 for more information.

 

Project Access is a collaborative project of The Cleveland Foundation and the Board of County Commissioners. It is a comprehensive, multifaceted capacity building program designed to strengthen the organizational capacity and effectiveness of faith-based community organizations. Starting Point for Child Care and Early Education is Northeast Ohio’s child care and early education resource and referral agency, serving families, early childhood professionals and the community. They are the coordinating agency for MyCom trainings for youth development organizations (formerly the Youth Development Initiative). Starting Point works to link families with child care services; increase the supply of child care; improve the quality of child care; stimulate early education alternatives; plan child care and early education initiatives; and address child care and early education issues. Strengthening Services is designed specifically for group and small non-profits typically funded by Neighborhood Connections. The Treu-Mart Youth Development Fellowship Program at the Mandel Center provides support and professional development for those who work with youth during non-school hours.
